From $0 to $2M Sales in 2 Years
John launched EntrepreneurOnFire on September 22, 2012. His mission is to produce a daily podcast interviewing today’s most successful entrepreneurs that will inspire and motivate others to take their own entrepreneurial leap.
EntrepreneurOnFire provides valuable insights and advice from entrepreneurs who have already built successful businesses, who are willing to share their journey for the benefit of others learning from their mistakes and their triumphs.
EntrepreneurOnFire was awarded Best of iTunes in 2013 with 7.4 million downloads reaching a total of 145 countries. The show featured incredible entrepreneurs such as Seth Godin, Gary Vaynerchuk, Barbara Corcoran, Tim Ferris, Brian Tracy and over 1000 others.
John’s net profit in 2014 alone is $2.1M.
From The Military To Podcasting
John’s background as a former military man helped him a lot in his entrepreneurial journey. He served a total of 8 years as an officer in the US Army – 4 years active and 4 in the reserves. His military days taught him about discipline which is key to his consistency in producing great content in a daily basis.
It was in his reserve years that he was introduced to podcasts and found it interesting. He likes to listen to interviews and love to learn how entrepreneurs had succeeded in their niche. He later realized that although there are great podcasts out there, none offered daily content. Then the concept of a daily podcast began to form.
What is the key to his success?
If you’re going to ask me that question, I will answer you in a personal point of view. Like most of John’s follower, I don’t know him personally. I think he came to the Philippines twice already but I never had the chance to meet him here.
I think the key to John’s success is his willingness to go where nobody has gone before. If you want to become successful, you must be willing to go where nobody has ever gone before. Click To Tweet
Why did I say that? Here’s the story behind that. When John decided that he wanted to start podcasting, he hired Jaime Tardy as his mentor. Jaime and another successful podcaster Cliff Ravenscraft told John that podcasting 7 days a week was not a good idea.
But John is willing to go where nobody has gone before and you know the rest of the story.

Another thing I like with John is his transparency. He is publishing a monthly income report in his website to document the struggles they encounter and the successes they celebrate as business owners.
I hope you are fired up and inspired by John’s journey. I must admit, I am really inspired and motivated because of John.
